About Latte Da
Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar
located in the Shumway and Lincoln Neighborhood
First built in 1901 as a residential building, Latte Da is a coffee house, bistro, wine bar, and event space near downtown Vancouver WA. With intimate sitting areas inside, and a large banquet area outside, Latte Da can fill you up in the morning with a breakfast quiche and coffee, then hold a party with food and wine for you and 75 of your closest friends in the evening.
“It had been empty for about three years before we took possession in February, 2011,” said owner Scott Flury. “It was a baptism by fire – I didn’t have a background in construction. We had to remodel it, but we tried to keep it the same architecturally. Hardwood floors, arched entries. A lot of it is original.”
Latte Da is Flury’s first foray into the restaurant/bar business as well. With a varied background – Flury had worked with his dad for years in the family business, with his bother in construction, for FedEx and with the Nike corporation – his entrepreneurial spirit brought him to Latte Da.
Vancouver is glad he did.

Events in Vancouver WA
To thank his customers, Latte Da holds many neighborhood events. Movie nights and S’mores parties are a staple of the summer while donations to local charities and holding fundraisers for non-profits are held at Latte Da all year round. Christmas parties, caroling and even a St. Paddy’s Day event are annual occurrences.
“You need to provide customer service, find a need,” Flury said. “There was a need in the neighborhood for what we put in there. We’ve been very blessed with the community support, and we love to give back to the community.”
